The state of Namibia’s economy

One of my favorite economists, Nobel Prize winner Joseph E. Stiglitz, recently published this article on Namibia’s economy that you might find of interest.

Namibia shows that even countries that start with serious disadvantages – extremes of racism, colonialism, inequality, and underdevelopment – can chart a path towards shared prosperity. Its achievement deserves international recognition – and emulation.
