The state of Namibia’s economy

One of my favorite economists, Nobel Prize winner Joseph E. Stiglitz, recently published an article on Namibia’s economy, the link of which has been removed. But I found this quote of interest.

Namibia shows that even countries that start with serious disadvantages – extremes of racism, colonialism, inequality, and underdevelopment – can chart a path towards shared prosperity. Its achievement deserves international recognition – and emulation.
