The list is down to five possibilities, depending on where I get assigned to work: Afrikaans, Silozi, Oshikwanyama, Otjiherero or Rumanyo.
Not sure that I have a preference but I find it interesting to note the number of native speakers of each in the world: 10.3M, 725K, 670K, 270K, 36K respectively.
Imagine learning a language like Rumanyo that is only spoken in one town…
